CONCLUSION
We arrived at the hotel around 6pm and was greeted by Helena, a very nice receptionist who helped us with the check-in process. She welcomed me as a Diamond member and explained the hotel's offerings including our access to the Executive Lounge as well as complimentary use of sunbed in the pool which would normally cost 10 Euros 👍 Our room was upgraded to an Executive Room which was very much appreciated. The room was nice although the design was probably not the most modern I've seen. We did not see any complimentary bottles of water although we later learned after check out that they were inside the ref to keep it cold. I'm not sure if the housekeeping forgot to put the shower curtain or they don't provide it at all, but it definitely was not easy taking a shower in the bathtub without a shower curtain. The food offering both from the Executive Lounge happy hour as well as the breakfast buffet in the main restaurant was extensive. The jamon was superb and I loved that they offered the churros 😋 The outdoor seating in the lounge and in the main restaurant was a big plus. Unfortunately, we did not have the time to enjoy the pool but hopefully next time. As for the location, we liked that it was just opposite a shopping mall and is a few minutes ride by metro to the tourist attractions. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would gladly stay here again when we are back in Barcelona.
