Complimentary Dinner

When we checked in around 2pm, Miryam the receptionist informed us that we would get a complimentary dinner since we did not get a room upgrade. I actually checked the available room for our stay on the mobile app and the only one they had was the Panorama Suite for 666 €, and which I think they are not supposed to give to us.

Dinner voucher at the Oceana Restaurant

For dinner, there was a choice between Ala Carte and buffet and we chose the latter. The buffet had an extensive offering and we really enjoyed it especially as our waiter, Bastien really took care of us so well.

CONCLUSION

As a Hilton fan, it was easy choosing which hotel we'd stay at in Malta since there's only one Hilton property in the island. The pictures of the rooms and amenities on the hotel's website were amazing so we were really excited for this stay. The room we got was so nice, spacious and offered fantastic views of the sea and the Marina from the terrace. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming especially Miryam and Bastien. The complimentary dinner we got was a nice gesture since we knew that the hotel was really full (due to the delegates from EU) and that getting a room upgrade was difficult. The food offering both from the Executive Lounge and the main restaurant was extensive and I personally loved their Local Specialties section in the buffet as well as the Iced Coffee πŸ‘ Taking a taxi or public bus to go to the city is easy as well. Lastly, the outdoor pool was simply gorgeous. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Malta and with its lovely rooms, wonderful staff and first class facilities, there is no doubt that this is the best hotel in the island πŸ˜‰
