2 Days in Mallorca

Earlier this month, Mike and I were in Palma de Mallorca where we spent two days exploring the city. We started our tour with one of the most famous tourist attractions in the city which is the Palma Cathedral and from there we went to the Town Hall, Plaza Mayor and the Basilica de Sant Francesc
among others.

On our second day, we went to Placa Espana, and from there we took the train to Soller where we had great views of the Serra de Tramuntana along the way before reaching the lovely town of Soller. It was a very short visit and we really hope to be back to Mallorca on another occasion because there's just so much things to see and do here. In case you are traveling to this beautiful Spanish Island, here are some of my travel tips:

Palma Cathedral or more commonly referred to as La Seu

A short video tour inside the Palma Cathedral

Palau de l'Almudaina

Town Hall

Santa Eulalia Church

Basilica de Sant Francesc (entrance fee is 5 Euros)

Inside the Basilica, make sure you don't miss the tomb of Ramon Llull.

Plaza Mayor

La Rambla

Olivar Market

Placa Espana

Taking the train to Soller. When you reach the Soller Railway Station, make sure you visit the paintings of Joan Miro and the collection of ceramics done by Picasso displayed in two separate exhibition rooms 👍

Serra de Tramuntana

Soller Town Hall

Iglesia de Sant Bartomeu

Taking the tram to the pier (it is actually much cheaper if you buy a train ticket to Soller plus the tram ticket to the pier than buying them separately) And yes, it's pretty much like the one they have in San Francisco California 😉

Soller

And as they say, "when in Espana, eat some paella" 😋
