Trip to Vilnius, Lithuania and Tallinn, Estonia
A couple of weeks ago, I was traveling again and this time, I visited two Baltic cities namely, Vilnius and Tallinn. It was my first time to visit Vilnius and I was really glad to have visited this beautiful city as they have a very nice Old Town with lots of interesting sights to visit. Since I have gold status with Club Carlson, I booked my first night at the Radisson BLU Hotel Lietuva which is famous for its Skybar and my second night at the Radisson BLU Royal Astorija Hotel which is located in the heart of the Old Town and where famous dignitaries like the King of Sweden and ex US President Bush have stayed in the past. Although I've been to Tallinn a few years ago, it was only for a few hours as we were on a cruise that time. This time, I stayed for two nights, staying at the Park Inn by Radisson Central Tallinn on my first night and at the newly opened Hilton Tallinn Park for my second night where I was given an upgrade to a one bedroom suite π I flew with SAS and LOT in economy class during this trip but since I have Star Alliance gold status, I had access to the SAS Gold Lounge in Copenhagen Kastrup Airport, the IDW Esperanza Resort Lounge in Vilnius Airport and the Business Lounge in Tallinn Airport. It was just a short trip since I had to be back in Stockholm for work but I definitely enjoyed every minute of it and hopefully, I will be back again soon π

CONCLUSION
My flight from Copenhagen was almost three hours delayed so instead of arriving at Vilnius Airport at 11:30pm, we arrived at 2:30am. Luckily, there was still a taxi waiting for arriving passengers so I was able to reach the hotel before 3am. I was welcomed as a Club Carlson gold member by Daniel, a very nice guy working in the reception who upgraded me to a business room with great views of the Old Town, and which he guaranteed I would love. Thanks so much Daniel π He also informed me about the breakfast hours, wifi, etc and also gave me a map of the city as I told him it was my first time in Vilnius. The room I got was very nice with a fairly big living room, a work desk and a separate toilet and bathroom. The breakfast buffet had an extensive offering including made to order eggs and pancakes, bacon, sausage, sauteΓ©d mushroom and "Virgin Mary" which I've seen for the first time in a breakfast buffet. Of course, Hotel Imperial Dubrovnik offered sparkling wine on their breakfast buffet and Radisson Decapolis Panama had the Bloody Mary so I guess it's getting more and more common π I thought the restaurant staff were very nice and the chef who made my "blini" was just as adorable. The Skybar on the 22nd floor is definitely the best feature of this hotel and which I unfortunately was not able to visit because of my delayed flight. The location although not the best is still good since it only takes 10 minutes to reach the Old Town. Overall, I really enjoyed my very short stay in this hotel (even if I missed visiting their Skybar) and would highly recommend it to my fellow travelers. To all the staff of Radisson BLU Hotel Lietuva, "AΔiΕ«!"
