CONCLUSION

First, I have to say that this lounge is really huge, with lots of seating space. It was a bit busy during my visit but it was no problem finding a seat as there were just lots of it. The lounge itself boasts of using energy efficient light bulbs with the lounge's modern design matching it. With complimentary wifi and charging facilities in almost every seat, I was able to do some work as well. I thought the food selection from the buffet during breakfast and lunch was good but could be improved, as is the case on most European lounges. On the other hand, the drinks selection (alcoholic and non alcoholic) was probably in par with other lounges offerings. There are 10 shower rooms which according to their website uses a special circulation system that warms the water which is a plus. Unfortunately, I had to wait for more than an hour before I could use one. There is also a rest area where one can have a nap although no announcements are made so you basically have to set your own alarm in order to avoid missing your flight. A smoking room is located on the far left corner of the lounge. Strangely enough, they have lockers located to the left of the reception but there are no keys to lock them. Overall, the KLM Crown Lounge 52 is a nice lounge worth a visit before a long flight.
