Me inside the Panathenaic Stadium

Last week, I was able to visit Greece for the first time, staying two nights in Athens. For me, exploring Athens felt like exploring Rome, there's just so much to see with it's rich history and culture. The famous tour is the Acropolis tour and I suggest you buy the ticket which costs 12 Euros and which also gives you access to the Temple of Zeus, Ancient Agora and Roman Agora among others. I was not able to visit the Museum of Acropolis (entrance fee is 5 Euros) although I will definitely visit it next time I come to Athens. If you feel like taking the bus and metro, they have a 24 hour ticket for 4 Euros and which I availed for one day which allowed me to see a lot. Here are some of the places I visited and which I recommend to my fellow travelers.

The Parthenon, a former temple in Acropolis (Athens) dedicated to the goddess Athena
